在澳洲毕业生完成至少两年全日制的教育就可以申请一个18个月 毕业生临时签证. 该签证是一个为期18个月的临时签证，是针对那些在澳洲完成了两年学习，但未能达到移民分数要求的学生而设立的。该签证的目的是为了让学生们有足够的时间来完善自己各方面的技能，以满足移民的要求。该签证没有分数要求，但申请人要达到一些基本条件。 申请人如果达到了移民要求，那么，他们可以在18个月里的任何时间提出移民签证申请。

持有学生签证的人如申请485签证，需要注意以下几点条件：

  IELTS的成绩必须满足4个6分以上，或则你有OET4个B以上的成绩。

  Competent	You must provide one of the following: evidence that you hold an eligible passport IELTS TRF Number to show you have a band score of at least six on each of the four components – speaking, reading, listening and writing.

  You must have skills and qualifications suitable for:

  • a 60-point occupation on the SOL
    or
  • a 50-point occupation on the SOL.

• 关于两年的学习,需要同时满足下述两个条件：

1. 通过两年的学习，获得雇主们所认可的学历和知识。
2. 至少16个月身在澳洲，熟悉澳洲的人文，地理和工作环境。

       在澳洲的学习必须获得相关的学历，未能获得学历的学习是不会被认可的。所以有些学生为了满足两年的学习，在原来一年半学习的基础上，再多学几门课，但是这几门课没有学历，那么这几门课的学习是不被承认的。

换课程和换校：

假如原先课程或学校的学分被新课程或学校认可，则原课程或原学校的学习会被认可。否则只能被认作是无效的。同时学习两个课程的时间只能算作一个课程的时间。

        所学专业和所提名职业的相关性，取决于下述两点。

• 从所学课程上看，学IT不能提名厨师, 学商科的不能提名修车工人；
• 所学专业之间的相关性，取决于专业之间是否有互补性。双学位就是一个很好的例子，课程密切相关，技能相互补充，技能与职业匹配。
